All the essential tools for your everyday matcha ritual. This set includes a 100-prong matcha whisk (chasen), bamboo scoop (chashaku), and stainless steel sifter.

Usage & Care

Chasen: Before use, soak the whisk in warm water to soften the tines. After use, rinse thoroughly with warm water (avoid soap) and gently tap out excess water. Store upright on a whisk holder or stand to dry to prevent mold and keep its shape. Replace when tines are worn, broken, or loses shape.

Chashaku: After each use, hand wash with warm water and a mild soap. Dry thoroughly before storing away. Avoid soaking the scoop for extended periods and never put it in the dishwasher.  Replace every 3-6 months with regular use, or when it starts to show signs of wear.

Sifter: Our fine mesh tea sifter (strainer) is made with stainless steel and is generally resistant to rust. To prevent rust, dry the sifter thoroughly after each use and avoid prolonged contact with moisture or corrosive substances.
